From the first idea to the final detail, every IOLANNA creation is developed around your story, movement and individuality.

CUSTOM & BESPOKE CREATIONS∙ Each IOLANNA costume is individually designed and handcrafted according to the client's requirements, measurements and creative vision.
∙ Every custom creation is made specifically for one client and is therefore considered a unique, personalized piece.
∙ Due to the bespoke nature of custom orders, all custom sales are final. Returns, exchanges or refunds are not accepted once production has begun.
∙ A custom costume cannot be resold or transferred to another client due to its individual design, measurements and specifications.
DESIGN APPROVAL & MODIFICATIONS∙ Before production begins, the final design direction, colours, fabrics, embellishments and major decorative elements are confirmed with the client.
∙ Once the final design has been approved, any requested changes may incur an additional design or production fee, as well as the cost of any additional materials required.
∙ Changes requested after production has begun may also affect the original delivery date.
∙ Changes to the design that require substantial reconstruction of an already completed part of the costume may be charged separately according to the work and materials involved.
IMAGES & DESIGN REFERENCES∙ I welcome mood boards, inspiration images, sketches, photographs and AI-generated images as references for communicating your ideas, mood, colours, silhouettes or decorative direction.
∙ Reference images are used as creative inspiration, not as templates for exact reproduction.
∙ IOLANNA does not reproduce AI-generated designs or another designer's work exactly. Each custom costume is developed as an original design based on the client's creative brief and my own artistic interpretation.
∙ The final design may therefore differ from the original reference while preserving the desired mood, character and overall creative direction.
DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS∙ A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your commission and reserve your place in the atelier's production schedule.
∙ The deposit also covers the initial design development, preparation and allocation of production time for your project.
∙ If you decide not to proceed with the commission after the deposit has been paid, the deposit is non-refundable.
∙ Production begins once the required deposit and all necessary information for the project have been received.
∙ The remaining balance must be paid in full before the finished costume is shipped.
∙ Additional work, materials or design modifications requested after approval may be added to the final balance.
PRODUCTION & TIMELINE Each costume is created individually, and production time depends on the complexity of the design, embroidery, embellishment and construction involved.
∙ An estimated production timeline and expected delivery date will be discussed and confirmed before the order is accepted.
∙ The production timeline begins once the required deposit, measurements, design information and necessary approvals have been received.
∙ Delays in providing measurements, reference materials, approvals, payments or other information required to proceed may affect the agreed timeline.
∙ IOLANNA will make every reasonable effort to complete each commission within the agreed production period.
FIT & MEASUREMENTS∙ Each costume is made precisely according to the measurements provided by the client at the time of production.
∙ The client is responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date measurements according to the measurement instructions provided by IOLANNA.
∙ Please note that body measurements may change during the production period. If the client gains or loses weight, or their body measurements otherwise change after the measurements have been provided, IOLANNA cannot be held responsible for changes in the fit of the finished costume.
∙ Once the measurements have been confirmed and production has begun, the client is responsible for notifying IOLANNA of any significant changes in body measurements as soon as possible.
∙ If significant changes in measurements occur during production and alterations or reconstruction are required, any additional work and materials may be charged separately.
∙ For younger clients, athletes or anyone whose measurements may change during the production period, updated measurements may be requested before final construction or fitting.
∙ Any specific fit preferences, areas requiring additional support, desired tightness or comfort requirements should be communicated before production begins.
SHIPPING & INTERNATIONAL ORDERS∙ IOLANNA ships custom creations internationally.
∙ The client is responsible for shipping costs, customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees and any other charges imposed by the destination country.
∙ International customs regulations and import charges vary by country and are outside the control of IOLANNA.
∙ Once the costume has been dispatched and tracking information has been provided, delivery times are subject to the courier and customs authorities.
∙ IOLANNA is not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance, courier services, weather conditions, strikes or other circumstances beyond the atelier's control.
∙ The client is responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and contact information.
QUALITY & CONCERNS∙ Every IOLANNA costume is carefully inspected and finished before leaving the atelier.
∙ Due to the handcrafted nature of couture embroidery and embellishment, very minor variations in the placement of individual crystals, beads, sequins or decorative elements may occur. These are considered part of the handmade character of the piece.
∙ In the unlikely event of a manufacturing defect directly attributable to IOLANNA's workmanship, the issue will be reviewed and, where appropriate, repaired at no additional workmanship cost.
∙ Any concerns regarding the condition or workmanship of the costume must be reported in writing within 7 days of delivery, accompanied by clear photographs and a detailed description of the issue.
∙ Damage caused by improper care, incorrect washing, ironing, storage, alterations by another person, normal wear and tear, accidents or misuse is not considered a manufacturing defect.
CARE & HANDLING∙ Each costume is created using delicate fabrics, embellishments and handcrafted decorative elements and should be handled with appropriate care.
∙ Specific care instructions may be provided with your costume depending on the materials and construction used.
∙ The client is responsible for following the recommended care instructions.
∙ IOLANNA cannot be held responsible for damage resulting from incorrect washing, drying, ironing, storage, cleaning or handling.
